The WaterSmart Landscape Contest was developed by local water agencies to show residents that a beautiful yard can also be water-efficient. The best-in-show landscape winner in each water district is awarded $250 and has their landscape featured in OMWD’s outreach materials.

Other Resources
Workshops are held year-round at The Water Conservation Garden, a wonderful place to visit for ideas and information. The garden is located on the Cuyamaca College campus.
WaterSense, a program launched by the Environmental Protection Agency, will educate consumers on making smart water choices that save money and maintain high environmental standards without compromising performance.
