| Water Conservation Programs and Incentives |

Water is a precious resource to those of us fortunate enough to live in Southern California. The current water supply shortage has further limited this valuable resource.
In response to the current water supply shortage, Olivenhain Municipal Water District (OMWD) has issued a Level 2 Drought Alert with mandatory water-use restrictions required throughout the District. Continuing to meet our water needs requires everyone to follow these guidelines and conscientiously conserve.
Device Incentives
As of September 21, 2009, OMWD has participated in the regional water conservation incentive program for San Diego County residents and businesses provided by the water wholesaler, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD).
Water$mart incentives for residential users will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted or until May 31, 2010, whichever comes first. Funds for the Save-a-Buck program for multi-family and business accounts have already been exhausted for the year.
