Mission
Olivenhain Municipal Water District (OMWD) is committed to serving present and future customers with a safe, reliable, high-quality water supply that exceeds all regulatory requirements in a cost-effective and environmentally responsible manner.

Payments
- Payments are due at the OMWD office on the due date printed on the bills.
- Payments, in U.S. dollars, can be made by check, money order or cash.
- Be sure to write your account number on checks or money orders.
- OMWD will return all post-dated or unsigned checks to customers and penalties may result.
- A $30 returned check fee will be assessed to customers whose checks are returned by their banks for any reason.
- If you think your bill is incorrect, please contact OMWD Customer Service within 5 days after you receive your bill.
Payment Options
- Mail — Mail your payment and stub, in the envelope provided, to the OMWD lock box address (see payment stub). Allow 5 business days for delivery.
- Drop Box — Enclose your payment and return stub in the envelope provided and deposit it into the payment drop box at the OMWD offices main entrance. Driving Directions
- Direct Payment — OMWD offers the Direct Payment Program which automatically deducts the amount of your water bill from your bank account on a specific day each month. There is no fee for this program. Please email us for further information.
- Credit Card — OMWD accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover for credit card payments. There is a $4.95 convenience fee associated with each credit card transaction. No part of this fee is retained by OMWD. To make a payment by credit card, please call 800-530-8287.
- Online Payment — Online payments can be made through the OMWD website. Enroll in eBill.
- Pay in Person — Bring your payment and return stub to the OMWD office during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding weekends and holidays) to get a receipt.

Hours
Normal business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. An answering service is available after hours for emergencies: 858-756-2926. Messages may be left at any time using the voice-mail system.
Delinquent Accounts
Payments not received by the 7th of the month following the payment due date will be considered delinquent and will be subject to a 5% delinquent penalty. At least 15 days prior to discontinuance of service due to non-payment of water bills, OMWD will mail delinquent notices to customers with past due balances of greater than $25.00.
Shut-Off Notices
Customers with balances due more than 12 days past the delinquent date will receive a 48-hour shut-off notice and will be assessed a $10.00 posting fee. OMWD Customer Service Representatives will attempt to contact all delinquent customers within 24 hours of scheduled water service shut-offs.
Moving/Vacation
Customers planning to relocate from their current residence should contact OMWD to close their accounts at least three days prior to moving. Customers are responsible for their accounts until OMWD is officially notified. Customers planning extended vacations may pay their water bills in advance to avoid late fees and possible water service shut-offs.
